Adagio Maiden Ornamental Grasses Description

Adagio Maiden Grass is a compact, elegant ornamental grass that adds texture, movement, and year round interest to gardens. Its fine, arching foliage creates a neat clump of silvery green leaves, which turn golden bronze in autumn for seasonal variety. In late summer, this grass produces soft, silvery pink flower panicles that rise above the foliage, maturing to a creamy beige and persisting into winter, providing structural interest even in colder months.

Pruning Advice

Cutting Back: In late winter or early spring, trim back the growth to about 10 to 15 cm (4 to 6 inches) from the ground before new growth appears. This encourages healthy regeneration.

Dividing: Divide the clumps every 3 to 4 years in early spring to maintain vigour and prevent overcrowding. Dividing is also a great way to propagate the plant.
