Red Head Maiden Grass is a stunning ornamental grass known for its striking, arching foliage and vibrant reddish purple flower plumes that appear in late summer. These soft, feathery plumes provide a dramatic contrast against the upright, green blades, which turn golden in the autumn, extending its visual appeal throughout the seasons. The plumes gradually fade to silvery tones, adding interest and texture well into winter.
