Compact Barberry Hedge Plants Description

Compact Barberry, or Berberis thunbergii, is a versatile, deciduous shrub widely valued for its vibrant foliage and suitability as a low-maintenance hedge plant. Known for its dense, bushy growth and colourful leaves that change throughout the seasons, this plant provides year-round interest. In spring, Compact Barberry produces small, pale yellow flowers, which are followed by bright red berries in autumn, adding further visual appeal and attracting birds to the garden.
